How to embed a form in WordPress
Add FormHouse forms to any WordPress page or post using a Custom HTML block. No WordPress plugin required — paste the snippet from the FormHouse Embed panel.
Steps
- In FormHouse, open your form → Embed and copy the inline, popup, or slider snippet.
- Open the page or post in the WordPress block editor.
- Add a "Custom HTML" block where you want the form (or the open button for popup/slider).
- Paste your embed snippet into the block.
- Preview the page, then publish or update it.
Tips
- Use a full-width block or group if the form should span the content area.
- For popups, place the button snippet in a banner or CTA section.
- Cache plugins: purge cache after publishing so visitors get the new script.
Get your snippet from any form’s Embed button in the builder — pick inline, popup, or slider, then copy and paste. Hosted forms also live at /f/your-slug.

- Do I need a FormHouse WordPress plugin?
- No. The standard HTML/script embed works in the block editor and classic editor HTML mode.
- Will the form work on mobile WordPress themes?
- Yes. FormHouse forms are mobile-first; ensure your theme does not clip overflow on the embed container.
